Surah al-Zumar - Verse 56 أَنْ تَقُولَ نَفْسٌ يَا حَسْرَتَی عَلَی مَا فَرَّطْتُ فِي جَنْبِ اللَّهِ وَإِنْ كُنْتُ لَمِنَ السَّاخِرِينَ 56. Lest a person should say “Alas, my grief that I was undutiful to Allah and I was indeed among those who mocked [His Verses].” The Day of Resurrection is the Day
Az-Zumar. Surah Az-Zumar is the 39th surah (chapter) of The Glorious Quran. Name of the surah means The Companies. It has 75 ayaat (verses) and was revealed in the holy city of Makkah i.e., before Prophet ﷺ migrated to the city of Medina. This surah is spread across 2 juz/paaras. 23rd juz contain verses 1-31, 24th juz contain verses 32-75.
